Spain 2 Remains In Front, But Are Hit With An OCS Penalty At The World University Sailing Championship

After the second day of the World University Sailing Championship that is going on in Cherbourg, Spain 2 maintained their lead. The team of Spain recorded another two victories from four races that took place in French waters on the second day of the championship. The team also notched up the finish at third place, but one on course side (OCS) penalty happened and that meant the team failed to begin their second outing on the water – it received the last place finish.

This result has been discarded currently however; the result has left the leaders with no space for another slip-up. Currently, Spain 2 has 16.00 points in total. On the other hand, Australia 2 has lifted its position. It has climbed to second place from the third place at the end of the day two of the championship. Now, Australia 2 will be in front OCS of Spain.

Australia finished in the second position for two times, one time in the fourth position, one time in the seventh position and has accumulated 20.00 points till now.
